Open call residency Van Doesburghuis
25 June 2024
Would you like to further develop or research your work as a maker through a residency abroad? The Performing Arts Fund NL supports a stay in the Van Doesburghuis in Paris from May through August 2025.
What is the residency for?
The residency in the Van Doesburghuis is an opportunity to further your artistic development and research your maker’s practice. It offers an inspiring environment to conduct research, to develop ideas, or to create new work.
As resident, you can use the facilities of Atelier Néerlandais in the centre of Paris. This Atelier serves as a place to work and network for Dutch makers and to meet French peers.
The residency is available for a period of at least two and at most four consecutive months between May and August 2025.

Who is eligible?
You can apply for the residency if you are active in the performing arts as an individual maker or as a duo. Duo’s must be engaged in structural collaboration, and are required to submit a joint plan that leads to a single result. At least one of the two makers must be active in the performing arts, while the other may be active in another discipline, in line with Theo and Nelly van Doesburg’s own multidisciplinary practice.
Applications
Interested? You can apply until 31 August 23.59 hours (CEST) 2024. Also see the page residency Van Doesburghuis.
