Opening soon: New Makers application portal
On 7 January, the New Makers application portal will open. This grant supports the development of emerging, talented makers through a longer-term trajectory. Applications are submitted by a venue, festival, company or producer, in collaboration with the maker. The deadline for applications is 18 February.

Please note: the webpage for this scheme is currently only available in Dutch.

  • Grant for Dutch Presentations Abroad – deadline 7 January
  • Foreign performances or concerts in the Netherlands (Buitenlandse voorstellingen of concerten in Nederland) – deadline 7 January
  • International co-productions (Internationale coproducties) – deadline 7 January
  • Production grant (Productiesubsidie) – deadline 7 January
  • Grant for composition or libretto commission – deadline 14 January

Transition to BNG Bank: From 1 January 2026
From 1 January 2026, we will transition to BNG Bank.
We have chosen to make this change for sustainability reasons. From that date, subsidies will be paid from our new bank account: NL55BNGH0285189743.

Nothing will change for applicants. The only difference is that payments will be made from this new bank account.

Moving: To our new office
We are moving to Spaarneplein 2 in The Hague, within walking distance of Hollands Spoor station. Our previous office has closed, and until 14 January we do not have a visiting address. During this period, we remain reachable by phone and email. From 14 January onwards, you are welcome at our new location.

Open Call: Residency in Birmingham
Are you a composer or music maker living in the Netherlands? Then you can apply for a residency in Birmingham. This is an international exchange with makers from the United Kingdom. Applications are open until 31 December 2025.

Awarded: Six music hubs
We have awarded six music hubs for pop, hip hop, and dance, spread across all regions of the country. Within these networks, musicians, venues, and coaches work together on talent development and new collaborations. The grants apply to the period 2026–2028.
